Well, im sure it refers to the 21 flags challenge. This is the strategy to get it right:
First person to post will leave it at 20. Then at 16, then at 12 then at 8, then at 4. Finally we'll win.
Example:
Ian takes 1 flag, there's 20 left
Danielle takes 2 flags, there's 18 flags left
Mookie takes 2 flags, there's 16 left
Erica takes 3 flags, there's 13 left
Sierra takes 1 flag, there's 12 left
Jeff takes 2 flags, there's 10 left
Jessie takes 2 flags, there's 8 left
Mikey takes 3 flags, there's 5 left
Jenny takes 1 flag, there's 4 left
Dan takes 3 or 2 or 1 flag, there's either 1 or 2 or 3 left
Ken takes the flags left (wont be more than 3) so we win.
Note, this is not the way we are going to do it, it's just an example. Each turn we take a flag, we gotta keep it this way:
Turn 1- 20 Turn 2- 16 Turn 3- 12 Turn 4- 8 Turn 5- 4 Turn 6- We win!!
Hope this helps! But i doubt its a challenge cus it said next update.

I thought that at first too BUT when i looked at the treemail closer, it was a picture of a hand holding two cards. Twenty-one can also refer to blackjack....just saying...

I agree with Ken, it could be Blackjack. There was also that recent movie called 21, which was about Black jack I think.

the end of the riddle does seem to point towards a trip to exile, though, doesn't it?
a trip where one game will slip?
or maybe thta refers to the mode of gameplay... as three times... that game is over...
could be either way...
thnx for the help though ace, if it is that type of challenge that post you left will be key.
i think it could be a switch-up though...
wow... that should be interesting. damn.

but what's with the "when you're done - one will help spare" part?
if it is a challenge... the winner of it will probably be choosing which tribe goes to exile and which one is safe...
if it is a switch-up, we can probably assume it will not be random... and someone will be picking... that's what it sounds like to me...
can't wait to find out.

If the challenge is the 21 flags one... You ddin't consider there are tres tribes, instead of two. I think.
