Wharekauri was upset after losing Bob, but they were convinced that they would rebound. Meanwhile, people at Rekohu began to grow sick of Mookie. A new alliance of Jessie, Jenny, Ken, Ace, and Sierra quickly formed. At the challenge, Rekohu and Motuhara ganged up on Wharekauri, who put up a good fight, but eventually lost. Amy was sent to exile, while Chicken was sent home.
When Wharekauri returned home, they seemed upset with what had happened at the previous challenge. Down to three members, they knew they could not lose another challenge.
Amy: totally unfair. Of course they're going to dogpile on the tribe that has less people. So, so unfair.
Cindy: I don' undah-stand why the other traibes are gangin' up on us. We clearly are the least threatenin' to them since we have 4 members. You'd think they'd wanna send the big threats to Tribal.
Meanwhile, at Rekohu, strong feelings for Mookie were still around.
Sierra: Hmm I am quite annoyed really. Jenny is playing every alliance, and I trust her the most, she is like Ms. Gossip Girl man I love that show aha. But Jenny is working and playing everyone and giving me the inside goss. Mookie has apparently been trying to butter me up but then he tells people if we go to tribal he is writing my name down, if that's the case im going to rat him out. He annoys me how he tries to make out that he is all for the tribe and wants to win it for us, and im like "whatever idiot" grr he drives me insane. I think if he doesn't shutup im gonna have to say something in a second and blast the *censored* out of him. Imma chick with some balls aite.
Ace: I hate Mookie. He's so paranoid. I have 50 messages and roughly 30 of them come from him. He pms me for nonsense stuff. He sends me a PM at 5:41 and then another one at 5:42 with something he forgot to tell me. He acts like an ass kisser. He wants SO BAD to stay out of the radar but he's making himself look to ''over the top'' he's a dumb person, and... oohh gosh! His paranoid is driving me nuts!
But Mookie was not phased.
Mookie: i woke up late at night to what sounded like a plane flying overhead, pretty far up... it was a very faint sound... and for a moment i actually had an urge to bolt up and start waving my hands screaming "i'm down here! i'm down here!" but then i realized i'm not lost on a deserted island... i chose to be here, afterall, and am working hard to stay. and i realized that if i were to start screaming i'd probably wake up my tribe-mates. at that moment, thinking of my tribe-mates and how i would have woke them up, i wondered if maybe the plane sound had awoken them like it did to me. so i looked around on the floor of our little shanty hut that we'd built straight out of the forest, and i saw no one. so i looked outside of the shelter, around our camp, and saw no one. i began to get very worried. where did they go? when did they leave? are they coming back? i continued searching all around the camp, but found no one. at one point i thought i heard some rustling in the trees so i went to investigate and whatever it was either ran off before i got there or there never was anything there in the first place... in the morning the tribe still hadn't come back... i was still alone in the wilderness sitting in a shelter we'd all helped build - even sierra, who had weaved a pimped-ass mat for us (which is what i was sitting on at that very moment)... i sat there pretty much all day, tending the fire with what fire-wood we'd already collected and not left to dry really close to the fire as to burn the whole place down, butch. i didn't collect nay food, didn't boil any water... for most of the day...but when i felt the sun was about an hour from going down, i figured they may not come back today, or tonight... so i gathered a little more fire-wood but it was too late to do much else. the next day, bright and early in the morning after getting more sleep then the night before but not much, i awoke to what i could swear was ian hollering from a distance, "our tribe is awesome!"
After that, he began to talk about how he still believes Ian, Ace, and Jenny were with him.
Mookie; i have told ian that i would like to go to kenny... and he will feel the same way... we've been starting to hold kenny in higher and higher regards... especially as we begin holding ace in a lesser regard... is that how you say that? who cares. jenny is still with us four but more and more she's drifting from ian and ace, it seems... she trusts me that ian is helpful to us, and will be helpful, but doesn't trust him much.
Later, at the challenge, tribes discovered that they would be given a temptation. Everybody had an opportunity to take an idol for this round only. However, if they took the immunity, then they would hurt their tribe. The tribe who had the highest percentage of people take immunity would go to tribal council.
Jessie: I'm not taking the idol. Though the prospect of taking out Mookie is a little too tempting.
Amy: No idol for me, thanks.
Bobby: Well I think we actually can come back to do very well. We Just have to perform well. No idol for me.
Cindy: I ain't takin' an idol. I may be goin' home this taime, bu' I'm tired of losin.
At the end of the day, Wharekauri dominated when none of them took an idol. Motuhara, on the other hand, failed when only one person did not take an idol. Dan was sent to exile island, where he found an immunity token. With it, he can grant immunity to any player of his choice. At tribal council, Erica, an inactive was voted out.
Erica: Thanks, guys. I really did not enjoy this experience at all anyway.
Danielle: Umm Erica How did you expect to popped up after being Gone for 2 weeks to stay in the game.
Mikey: Yeah, Erica. Advice: Stay active.
