General
During the tribal portion of the game, tribes will compete for tribal immunity. The tribe(s) that do(es) not win immunity will see me for a Tribal Council in which they will vote off a member(s) of their tribe.
During the individual portion of the game, each player will compete for individual immunity. The tribe will then go to Tribal Council where they will vote out a member of their tribe that is not currently holding individual immunity.
When we get down to two players, the power then turns over to the jury who then vote for one of the two remaining players. The player who earns the most votes is crowned the winner of ForumsNet Survivor 10: Chatham Islands
Tribes
Survivors are divided in a X numbers of tribes, which will be determined at the start of the game. Once tribes are divided Survivors are not allowed to talk to people from opposing tribes ABOUT THE GAME unless hosts said they can. If someone is caught doing this, penalties involve from getting a warning (3 warnings means elimination) or depending on the severity have an automatic elimination.
Challenges
Before every Tribal Council there will be an immunity challenge. Depending upon the mode of game we are in, it will be either an individual immunity challenge or a tribal immunity challenge. The person or tribe that scores the highest on the challenge or completes the challenge the quickest will win immunity. There will be no Reward Challenges in FNET 10, but there will be several parts where rewards can possibly be earned.
Ties
In the event of a tie in an individual challenge, the person who sent in their response the quickest wins immunity. In the event of a tie in a tribal challenge, the tribe who had all of their responses in first, wins tribal immunity. Specific tiebreakers posted in a challenge overrides the tiebreaking rules stated here. In the event of a tie at Tribal Council, we will resort to whether one of the tied persons self voted or not. If one of the people with a tied number of votes had self voted, they will be voted out. Otherwise, we will go to number of past votes. If it is still a tie up until this point, we will draw rocks.
Behavior
This is a game has no correct way to play as there are many different paths you can take to win. So, lies are to be expected in this game. If you get lied to or backstabbed, it can hurt, but try to suck it up and move on. Things may get heated, but make sure that you do not allow yourself to get out of hand. Harsh or mean posts are allowed but personal attacks or flaming are not. If I see that you have crossed the line, you will be warned. If you ignore that warning and continue on, you will be ejected from the game. If you make the jury and have to be ejected, someone else will replace you in the jury.
Identity
You may not reveal your real identity. It may or may not affect your game in the future so you better keep it secret. Also this rule is to prevent the game to be full of ''past friends'' alliances since theres a lot of new players and we need to keep it fair to everyone. Now I know a lot of people do not pay attention to this rule, but this rule helps make the game fair for everybody and much more realistic. Amber wasn't married to Rob before Survivor All Stars, was she?
Exile Island
There will be an Exile Island, and there will be various goodies hidden there. The goodies, as you will find out, can either help or hurt you when you choose. You may choose to not select a prize, if you wish. Unless otherwise stated, when you are sent to exile island, you will miss that week's tribal council.
Please read the above part. This is a new addition.
Confessionals
You will have confessionals this season, and be asked to use them. I would ask that you keep a more detailed journal as it will make it more fun at the end of the season. Therefore, in order for your vote to be accepted at tribal council, you need to have some sort of confessional post posted in the previous three days. Otherwise, you will receive a penalty vote, but not a self vote. This is because I want confessionals! It makes jobs for the viewers and for the host a lot more fun.
If there is ever any confusion, the host's decision is final.
Also, I have planned this whole game out, I would never favor one of you over the other.
Thank you for reading these rules and most importantly, have fun!
I would like to thank JP for taking his time to make these long rules for us to copy, as well as all other hosts who have added to them throughout the years. I have too added a few modifications.
